These terms govern your use of the Byblos app and website. By using Byblos, you agree to these terms.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. One person may not maintain more than one account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Byblos.
You retain ownership of all content you add to Byblos, including your library data, reviews, ratings, and collections. By using the social and sharing features, you grant Byblos a licence to display your shared content to other users as you have configured.
You agree not to post reviews or content that is abusive, defamatory, or violates any applicable law. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.
Byblos offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions: Byblos Plus ($4.99/month or $49.99/year) and Byblos Premium ($9.99/month or $99.99/year). Both include a 7-day free trial.
Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings (App Store or Google Play).
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies.
Byblos uses artificial intelligence to provide book recommendations, reader personality analysis, and shelf scanning. AI-generated content is provided for informational and entertainment purposes. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated recommendations, quotes, or descriptions.

The Byblos name, logo, and app design are the property of Shimmer Labs. Book cover images and metadata are sourced from third-party databases and belong to their respective rights holders.
Byblos is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for Byblos subscriptions in the 12 months preceding any claim.
You may delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms as the app evolves. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of Byblos after changes means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
